William McRaven says America is ‘under attack’ by Trump — here’s what else the retired Navy SEAL admiral has to say about the president
Ed.’s note: The recurring thought we have on this opposition to President Trump by a few military officers, is that do these officers know and fully comprehend the machinations of bankers? McRaven apparently doesn’t like the way President Trump has been “attacking the media.” Well of course, President Trump is attacking the media. Look at what the New York Times does on a regular basis: fakes news all the time. Perhaps McRaven should read the New York Times for his intelligence updates. The media are extended offices of the intelligence agencies including military intelligence. Notice it’s always when corporate military generals who have their priorities mixed up retire do they start their rants against sitting presidents. Remember, it was McRaven serving under Obama who led an attack (Operation Neptune Star) that killed a phoney Osama bin Laden who “had a stash of pornographic videos in his hideout” on May 2, 2011. It was the media that heavily promoted that ridiculous idea.
After the phoney raid, 22 SEALs who participated in it, went down in a Chinook helicopter crash on August 6, 2011. McRaven spent his entire career in the covert world. McRaven can drone on all he wants about “Trump risking the republic” and “America is under attack”, but it won’t wash. Where has this phoney war on terrorism gotten America today? The US is being booted out of every country in the Middle East. Some quotes are worth repeating:
“Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” ― Henry Kissinger
McRaven was part of the regime changing military apparatus in Washington which now has reached its end. The “war on terrorism” was created and brought into existence to do “regime change” operations in one country after another. McRaven was at the tip of the “spear” in leading the covert US military operations in changing regimes. If Tulsi Gabbard gets her way, this is going to seriously cut into war profits. If readers think for a moment the US regime change operations are still not completely over, have a look what is going on in Syria.
What Americans never see clearly or are adequately exposed to, is how these US generals view Israel (seen as “saving western civilization”) in its continuing military and technological buildup. What many US generals oppose is complete detente and cooperation with Russia (deep state: cold war 2.2). This above all else must be prevented from happening as Russia moves rapidly to be the big peace broker in the Middle East. The CIA more than likely working through some of these US officers, are going to dog President Trump until he leaves office. Losing Syria is a major defeat for them as it is for Israel which has been trying to split Syria up among ethnicities.
We disagree with Philip Geraldi’s take on McRaven’s involvement in the faked killing of bin Laden in Pakistan, but other than that this is a good article. Read some of the comments on McRaven too, they’re pretty insightful.

Retired US Navy Adm. William McRaven, former head of Special Operations Command, delivered his fiercest criticism of President Donald Trump yet in a column in The New York Times on Thursday.
McRaven’s 36-year military career was marked by several high-profile accomplishments, including his leadership role in Operation Neptune Spear, targeting al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, in 2011.
He retired from the Navy in 2014 and became the chancellor of the University of Texas system in 2015. Two years later, he said he would leave that job, citing health concerns.
McRaven has written several bestselling books about leadership, including “Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life … And Maybe the World” and “Sea Stories: My Life in Special Operations.”
McRaven has taken issue with Trump’s policies and demeanor throughout his presidency, writing several striking opinion columns and criticizing him in interviews. While it is not uncommon for retired senior officers to speak for or against a sitting president, McRaven’s comments have attracted significant attention due to his seniority and service.
Trump has responded by denigrating McRaven’s military service and accusing him of being politically biased, calling the retired admiral a “Hillary Clinton fan” and an “Obama backer” during a Fox News interview in November.
“Wouldn’t it have been nice if we got Osama bin Laden a lot sooner than that? Wouldn’t it have been nice?” Trump said.

The question should be asked here is what is going on between Donald Trump and the US military where we see retired officers criticizing President Trump?
Is this what US military officers (some but not all) are concerned about? What’s it going to be, McRaven and Mattis?
