Ed. note: The “regime change” regime lost its foundation for support to go into Venezuela for any number of reasons including “democracy” (resource theft), removal of a dictator, bringing peace to the Venezuelan people, end a tyrants regime and just about anything else that can be tossed into that mix. The reason for going into Venezuela has collapsed, so the story has changed now to “fight Hezbollah.” The good old dependable standby: “fighting terrorism.” What will the next reason be given when the good old standby excuse of “fighting terrorism” fails, fighting aliens? What did they discover in Venezuela? A 70 year old man retired in Venezuela who was loosely connected to Hezbollah because he lived in Lebanon?
By Pompeo declaring “fighting Hezbollah” in Venezuela, this now pits the American people against the Venezuelans. Venezuela was forced to go to sources outside of Venezuela for their needs including Iran. This further demonizes Venezuela with the claim of “fighting Hezbollah”. When the US sanctioned Venezuela the government of Venezuela had no other choice than to go around sanctions to survive. The US has backed Venezuela into a corner and now the spin is being escalated. If all else fails the US will go in with their military if they aren’t already there in Colombia.

Pompeo: America ‘obligated’ to fight ‘Hezbollah’ in Venezuela to save ‘duly elected’ Guaido
February 7, 2019
Straining to explain Washington’s eagerness for regime change in Caracas, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Cuba was already occupying Venezuela, misunderstood how democracy works, and claimed Iran had a presence in the country.
While navigating extremely delicate issues like international diplomacy for most world leaders requires finesse and sophistication, Pompeo opted for a more ham-fisted approach in an interview with Fox Business on Wednesday. Weaving together a loosely-knit narrative of garish moralizing and lists of countries on America’s naughty list, President Donald Trump’s chief diplomat attempted to help American audiences understand what the State Department is doing in Venezuela.
After making the expectant accusations of Russian and Chinese interference in Venezuela, Pompeo decided to mobilize his go-to excuse for US meddling – Iran!
“People don’t recognize that Hezbollah has active cells — the Iranians are impacting the people of Venezuela and throughout South America,” adding that “We have an obligation to take down that risk for America.”
It might seem that Pompeo merely has trouble with geography, having recently shared a bizarre map on Twitter that featured the non-existent countries of East and West Turkey, among other things. However, in the course of the interview, he also made several other puzzling declarations, such as referring to self-declared Venezuelan leader Juan Guaido as having been “duly elected,” even though the Washington-backed politician never even ran for president.

John Bolton declares “humanitarian aid” will be delivered by the military to Venezuela while last week Elliot Abrams was appointed as “Special Envoy” to Venezuela. Remember back in the 1980s when all that “humanitarian aid” was delivered to Nicaragua to help those poor undernourished peasants in Latin America? Elliot Abrams has experience delivering “humanitarian aid”, so now that history can be easily recalled through the internet and good data bases, we now know “special envoy” means setting up the logistics for “special” weapons deliveries. The “humanitarian aid” is on the way and the US military is standing by like good Samaritans to “protect Americans in Venezuela.”
With announcement from John Bolton that US military will help deliver humanitarian aid to Guaido & Venezuela opposition, worth recalling this history: in 1980s, CIA arranged to deliver military equipment to Contra rebels in Nicaragua on planes designated for “humanitarian aid.” pic.twitter.com/8Q6a49507D— Kevin Gosztola (@kgosztola) February 3, 2019
Here is a table of “humanitarian aid” on display delivered to the Arturo Michelena International Airport in the Venezuelan city of Valencia from Miami, Florida.

Here is the list of economic sanctions on Venezuela. Read down this list then understand how devastating of an impact these sanctions have had on Venezuela and the people of Venezuela. Sanctions are warfare on people of targeted countries. This crime investigation belongs at the UN and in the Hague. After these devastating sanctions the “regime change” regime in Washington by pulling this “fighting Hezbollah” trick out, will now attempt pitting the American people against the people of Venezuela.
Does anyone honestly for one American minute think those in Washington are concerned in the least about “returning Venezuela to democracy” and all that related “fighting tyranny” claptrap? And don’t get any ideas either about attempting to ignite one of those Venezuelan oil tankers sitting off the coast of Louisiana by Colombian (to be blamed on Hezbollah) saboteurs in submersibles. An act of sabotage like that would then spin out of control as attempts would be made to blame Venezuela or “Hezbollah terrorists.” Don’t do it. Do not destroy the gulf again in another disaster to convince the American people Venezuela “can’t manage their oil fleet”. How did this ever come about the US is the world’s judge, jury and executioner as “petro dollar terrorists.”
Watch this nonsense news on Venezuela on “foreign aid” being blocked at the border between Venezuela and Colombia. Those aid convoys are more than likely packed with weapons. Notice who is interviewed. A woman who probably knows nothing of the circumstances going on here if those trucks are loaded with weapons under the form of “humanitarian aid.” Always the emotional appeal to families and children. As if a few trucks of humanitarian aid are really going to make that much of a difference in a country with a population of almost 32 million people.
If the US takes its military into Venezuela, this is the commander who will direct them:
