Pence’s Military Style Jacket
Ed. note: Pence moves closer to supporting a US military intervention in Venezuela speaking in Florida giving the troops the usual pre-invasion “protecting democracy” pep talk. Why not just tell the troops they are going to war to protect gold and oil resources in Venezuela from going to China and Russia? And be sure to tell the troops Venezuela’s tanks have been upgraded by Spain. Even though Trump talks about a military option still “being on the table”, it actually means the option has been taken off the table and implemented as the media, especially the UK media, ramps up their intense state propaganda against Venezuela. Trump’s first order of business: “bring the troops home from Syria and Afghanistan” turning those countries over to China, Russia and Israel to incorporate those countries in the region into China’s Belt & Road Initiative. Will probably need some of those combat experienced troops for Venezuela. Which makes it all the more important for the US to take Venezuela’s resources as the US is forced out of the Middle East.
Pence Calls for End to Maduro Govt: Not Time for Dialogue, It’s Time for Action
US Vice President Mike Pence said Friday that all options on Venezuelan political crisis are on the table, stressing that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro should not “test the resolve of the United States”.
“This is no time for dialogue. This is time for action … The time has come to end the Maduro dictatorship once and for all”, Pence told a cheering crowd at a rally in Miami, Florida.
During the talks with Venezuelan diplomats on Tuesday, Pence said that Washington strongly supports the country’s National Assembly and self-declared interim President Juan Guaido. Moreover, Pence said in a video message earlier this week that the US government supported Guaido’s “courageous decision … to assert that body’s constitutional powers, declare Maduro an usurper and call for the establishment of a transitional government”.
Maduro, in turn, has slammed Pence’s statement as a violation of “the rules of the game”, vowing to revise relations with Washington.
Another senior US official, National Security Advisor John Bolton, claimed earlier in the day that there was overwhelming support among Latin American countries for a transfer of power away from Maduro to Guaido.
