Oligarchs Want Access To What They See as Their Wealth in Venezuela

Ed note: As we have seen over and over again these “elected” leaders of countries like President Trump in America and President Emmanuel Macron of France, work for oligarchic interests. President Trump and President Macron should work for the interests of their own people (anyone who really believes that concept except as it applies to Venezuela needs to look elsewhere for answers) rather than interfering in the affairs of Venezuela. Made obvious by the oligarch’s choice of Juan Guaidó of the “opposition”, announcing himself as president of Venezuela. Isn’t that precisely what a dictator would do? Venezuela used to be America’s ally and supplied America with its oil needs all through WWII. This is going to be the biggest foreign policy mistake America has made in 100 years. Venezuela presently is shipping oil to the US. Get ready Americans, US oil cartels are under no restrictions.

Since 2014, when the US lifted its 40-year ban on crude oil exports, US oil cartels can sell oil to whoever they want to under no restrictions. Are you ready for $8 to $10 a gallon for gas in America? Look for yourselves, the graph doesn’t lie. All of Venezuela’s problems started in 2014 when the US lifted its oil ban on exports which glutted the market with oil. This caused problems in countries all over the world especially Venezuela where inflation went through the roof. That was intentional.

Now America has turned on Venezuela because under Hugo Chavez and now President Nicolás Maduro, they have cut off America from easy access to Venezuela’s resources including oil, gold and cobalt. This is very simple to understand what is going on in Venezuela. Venezuela holds large deposits of resources and oligarchs want it. These oligarchs Trump and Emmanuel work for are doing everything they possibly can through the media to make that access possible. This is not a crisis inside Venezuela. Venezuela is being forced into a crisis by US economic policy (warfare) towards Venezuela. Watch what will happen. If this Juan Guaidó somehow does take over, the first thing he and his US-based backers will do is subvert the Constitution of Venezuela. Ex-President Jimmy Carter observed that the elections in Venezuela were “the best in the world.” That inflamed American oligarchs and they immediately went to work to demolish Jimmy Carter’s statement on elections in Venezuela. This editor met Jimmy Carter, enjoyed the brief meeting. Here is what Jimmy carter said:

“As a matter of fact, of the 92 elections that we’ve monitored, I would say that the election process in Venezuela is the best in the world.”

Here we have the US condemning Russia for interfering in America’s internal political process, and America is now blatantly interfering in the internal political process of Venezuela even going so far as to suggest a military solution. “All options are on the table” diplomacy. So let us get this clear then. The US is sanctioning Venezuela for their “lack of democracy” but not Saudi Arabia? President Maduro’s policies may not be helping the people of Venezuela, but crippling US sanctions or pushing for “regime change” are going to escalate out of control. As we have already observed, the US has been putting in place its plans for a military assault on Venezuela through their two proxies, the criminal narco state of Colombia and Brazil.

Rockefeller War On Venezuela Continues

1 January 24, 2018 • Left Hook • 11 comments

Yesterday within hours of President Trump recognizing Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido as that country’s new president, Venezuela’s duly elected 2nd term President Nicholas Maduro broke all ties with the US, accusing the US of backing a coup against his government and giving all US personnel 72 hours to leave the country. Maduro had only been sworn in two weeks ago.

Russia warned that the attempted US coup attempt, which was later backed by the right-wing governments of Brazil, Colombia, and Canada, would result in bloodshed if further actions were taken. Kremlin spokesmen Dmitry Peskov stated said outside interference in the country were “unacceptable” and that talk of US military actions was “dangerous”.

Educated at the CIA-infested George Washington University, Guaido only became president of the National Assembly of Venezuela on January 5th. He immediately claimed that Maduro was not Venezuela’s President and worked to incite rebellion within the military.

Maria Iris Varela Rangel, a leader in Maduro’s United Socialist Party of Venezuela, Tweeted of the sedition, “Guaido: I have already gotten your jail cell ready with the right uniform, and I hope you name your cabinet quickly to know who will keep you company, you stupid kid”.

US officials told the New York Times they saw Guaido as “a fresh face” and Vice-President Pence had already publicly backed him. Maduro said in a state television address, “Who elects the president of Venezuela? Mike Pence? I am the only president of Venezuela. We don’t want to return to the 20th century of gringo interventions and coups de’ etat.”

In 2017 Maduro organized elections for a constituent assembly. Over 8 million people participated, creating a bulwark which would protect their Bolivarian Socialist Revolution against the constant violence of the Miami-based Venezuelan oligarchy.

On October 9, 2012,  Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez had been re-elected for the third time in fourteen years, handily defeating conservative oligarch challenger Henrique Capriles with 54% of the vote. The fiery Chavez, who had recently criticized NATO harassment of the Assad government in Syria, was slated to serve another six-year term.

But on March 5, 2013, Chavez died from a rapidly spreading “cancer”, likely administered by agents of the City of London Illuminati banksters. (https://hendersonlefthook.wordpress.com/2014/08/28/did-the-cia-poison-hugo-chavez/)

Chavez’ re-election was remarkable considering that less than two years before the Venezuelan oligarchy and their CIA/Big Oil backers were holding rallies in Caracas dubbed Operation Venezuela. The events, which were well countered by supporters of Chavez, marked the anniversary of the deposing of Marcos Perez Jimenez in Venezuela in 1958.

But as with all recent CIA-sponsored Orange/Velvet/Cedar “revolutions”, the contradiction lies within the history books. Jimenez, you see, was a right-wing dictator, the polar opposite of the socialist Chavez.

In 1914 Royal Dutch/Shell subsidiary Caribbean Petroleum discovered the vast Mena Grande oilfield in Venezuela. Foreign oil companies began flocking to the area. When oil was discovered at Lake Maracaibo in 1922, Venezuelan dictator Juan Vicente Gómez allowed Americans to write Venezuela’s petroleum law.

On November 27, 1948, Venezuela’s first democratically-elected President Romulo Gallegos was overthrown on a coup led by Jimenez cronies. Democracy was not restored until 1958 when Jimenez was overthrown. President Romulo Ernesto Betancourt Bello won the election held later that year. The populist Betancourt had been President from 1945-1948. He had transferred power to the novelist Gallegos shortly before the right-wing coup.

Jimenez privatized Venezuela’s economy while littering Caracas with the skyscrapers of multinational corporations and banks. He was tight with both Venezuela’s richest man Gustavo Cisneros and Creole Petroleum. Cisneros is a Rockefeller lieutenant who sits on the board at Bank of Nova Scotia – one of the Big 5 Canadian banks. It owned the 200 tons of gold recovered from beneath the World Trade Center post-911.

US Regime Change in Venezuela: The Documented Evidence

January 25, 2019 (Tony Cartalucci – LD) – The Latin American nation of Venezuela faces dangerous destabilization with the United States and its allies having recognized opposition figure Juan Guaido as “president” and declaring actual Venezuelan president – Nicolas Maduro – no longer recognized.

In response, President Maduro has demanded US diplomatic personnel to leave the country.

Protests and counter-protests have reportedly taken to the streets as both sides attempt to seize the psychological and political initiative.

Why Venezuela?

According to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo – the impetus for Washington’s sudden interest in Venezuela is the suffering of the Venezuelan people.

Reuters in their article titled, “Pompeo calls on Venezuela’s Maduro to step down, urges support from military,” would claim:

In a statement, Pompeo said Washington would support opposition leader Juan Guaido as he establishes a transitional government and prepares the country for elections. “The Venezuelan people have suffered long enough under Nicolas Maduro’s disastrous dictatorship,” Pompeo said. “We call on Maduro to step aside in favor of a legitimate leader reflecting the will of the Venezuelan people.”

In truth, Washington’s motivation is the fact that according to The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) – Venezuela has the largest proven oil reserves on Earth – more than Saudi Arabia and accounting for nearly a quarter of all OPEC production.

The US doesn’t necessarily need this oil in terms of energy – but in terms of maintaining a US-led unipolar international order – controlling or crippling nations with large amounts of hydrocarbons prevents the emergence of a multipolar world nations across the developing world seek, led by reemerging global power – Russia – and newly emerging global power – China.

A Venezuela governed by a stable political order able to produce wealth from its massive oil reserves – and dedicated to a multipolar alternative to Washington’s current international order is intolerable for Wall Street and Washington and explains the vast amount of time, energy, money, and resources the US has invested in destabilizing and overthrowing first President Hugo Chavez – with a coup attempt in 2002 – and now President Maduro.

Ed. note: Imagine the level of narcissism it must take for one person to stand up and announce he is the interim president of country while never having stood for an election before the people of a country. There are five people who “voted” for this little weasel Juan Guaidó and who even know who he is: National Security Advisor John Bolton; President Donald Trump; vice-President Mike Pence; Senator Marco Rubio (working for his oligarch bosses in Florida); Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Juan Guaidó can count to five for sure but can he run a country with absolutely no experience? Of course he doesn’t have any experience running a country. That’s why he is where he is claiming himself to be the president of country. If he takes over in Venezuela, the country will collapse into utter chaos and violence. Where have we seen that model before? Iraq? Afghanistan? Libya? The US has developed a specialized skill as a military-dollar industrial empire protecting its corporate interests over the past 100 years. It has a superb extremely well-tuned mechanism in place doing a consummate job through its media (including social media) to master the narrative: “regime change”. Juan, can you count? “Uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco.” Or Juan, here’s an idea: count backwards on your countdown to being ejected from Venezuela.

Well Juan, look on the bright side of your “self-appointed interim presidency”, the US diplomats in Caracas refuse to leave so you can depend on them for a few more votes. Remember Libya Juan, when the US Ambassador Christopher Stevens got taken out in Benghazi with Hillary and Barack taking the rap for that? Don’t get any ideas alright, Juan? As a sign of good faith you may want to make a telephone call, or send an email, over to the US embassy suggesting the staff there may be taking a fall for a potential violent retaliatory military reaction from the US. The US are very good at that sort of thing, so are the Israelis. And Juan, the Venezuela military doesn’t support you and neither does Russia.

More propaganda and fake news from the BBC (use discernment reading this news since the video footage gives the wrong impression using these clips of pro-Maduro crowds used as “anti-Maduro” or “pro-Guaidó” crowds):

Here’s the deal with the Christian-Zionist Mike Pompeo. He is ready to offer Venezuela $20 million in foreign aid and all of his Zionist-Christian love for regime change in Venezuela when there are roughly 800,000 US government employees including the US Coast Guard being forced to work without pay? Are we out of our f*cking minds to allow this oligarchical-controlled “regime” to continue in Washington?

Pompeo is going to hand over to this “opposition leader” Juan Guaidó in Venezuela, $20 million who people have never heard of before when there have been continuous elections in Venezuela for the past 25 years as confirmed by ex-President Jimmy Carter? The US-led economic war is what is tearing Venezuela apart, not socialism (Americans need to get their heads screwed on properly about what socialism really is) as has been reported by the western mainstream media dominating and directing the narrative on Venezuela.

Part of the US economic warfare arsenal against Venezuela has been to sabotage Venezuela’s currency. Then once Venezuela’s currency has been undermined, the US media sets their claws on how “inflation is destroying Venezuela’s economy”. This has been the model of US economic warfare for the past 70 years. The process is cynical economic warfare against the people of Venezuela who in many cases are too ignorant to understand what is actually happening to their currency and why prices are going up on purchases. Then when Venezuelans attempt fighting back to get around Venezuela’s currency being sabotaged, the US Treasury goes after them for “perpetrating frauds.”

The terrible forthcoming destruction of the Caribbean Basin

According to Wayne Madsen, this all now sets a “very dangerous precedent” with the US overriding the elections first in Venezuela and then who knows what country is next. This ominous direction clearly diminishes the power of individual countries and replaces legitimately elected representatives like Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela, with whoever American oligarchs running America want to have placed in power. The US is turning over diplomatic relations to Juan Guaidó which will cause further chaos and instability under the government of President Nicolás Maduro.
