The Silk Route will pass through Jordan, Egypt and Israel
Voltaire Network | 19 October 2018
After the Daesh attack on the city of Palmyra, China renounced the traditional “silk route” (Bagdad, Palmyra, Damas-Tiro). An alternative trail had been envisaged, no longer across Syria but Turkey. This has also been abandoned.
During antiquity there was also a secondary route through Petra (Jordan) and Alexandra (Egypt). In the final analysis, the new Silk route should pass through Jordan then bifurcate with one branch leading to Egypt and the other in the direction of Israel.
The path traced through Egypt has been approved by the Obama Administration which authorized doubling the capacity of the Suez Canal (already done) and establishing a vast industrial area ( which is underway ).
The Trump Administration would have authorized the trail by Israel. The Shanghai International Port Group has just bought a concession for operating the ports of Haifa and Ashdod. China will also built a tunnel from Mount Carmel to double the supply of Haifa’s port.
As a result, for 2021, 90% of Israel’s international trade will be controlled by China. This means that the People’s Republic of China will join the United States as protector of Israel, a perspective rippling indignation through US-Israeli military circles.

The United States will increase investments in Israeli infrastructure projects, says Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, praising investment opportunities there.
“We have a very important relationship with Israel. This is really a great place for investments, particularly technology investments,” Mnuchin told reporters in Jerusalem al-Quds.
“We are going to make sure we do more infrastructure investments here,” added Mnuchin alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
However, he did not provide further elaborations on the projects Washington would invest in.
The United States has always been under criticism for its relations with and support of Israel despite the regime’s atrocities against Palestinians and its blatant human rights violations in Gaza and elsewhere.

‘Science and technology constitute a primary productive force,” as China’s revered late leader Deng Xiaoping famously opined. It is a world-wide common understanding that innovation is an important impetus of development, and both Chinese and Israelis are imbued with that creative spirit.
China’s Four Great Inventions – compass, gunpowder, papermaking and printing – contributed greatly to the advance of human civilization. Now the second-largest economy, China is vigorously implementing an innovation-driven development strategy and promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
The establishment of China-Israel Innovative Comprehensive Partnership is boosting innovation cooperation and bringing more benefits to the two peoples, as Chinese President Xi Jinping said.
In March 21, 2017, President Xi Jinping and visiting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced an Innovative Comprehensive Partnership (ICP) in Beijing. According to the joint statement, the two countries agreed to step up innovation cooperation and exchanges among young technological personnel.
The China-Israel Joint Committee on Innovation Cooperation is an important government-to-government cooperation mechanism between Israel and China, with the first JCIC meeting held in Beijing in January 2015.

Preparing the region for China’s new “Silk Road” with various countries (corporations) squabbling for their share of lucrative contracts:
While US Naval assets are in the Pacific close to Taiwan with China becoming increasingly angered, Israel looks to be providing American military technology to China. Actually, Israel has been selling military technology to China from America for a very long time. An occasional media article will appear but then disappears quickly into the back pages where it is forgotten.
How do we interpret China controlling trade coming out of Israel by 2021 with China building ports in Israel as the US increases assisting Israeli tech firms and infrastructure through investment? While at the same time the US and China are moving into an era of a “cold war” with possible military confrontation which is probably mostly show.
This is how Israel walks off with American technology. Appropriate name is it not? Because the technology “flies” to Israel::
What is going on here with Mike Rogers who served as the second commander of the U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) joining Team 8? Team 8 is a cyber security company based out of Tel Aviv, Israel. It describes itself as a “think tank and company creation platform”.
The United States (Anglo-American empire) fades into history as the US dollar comes under increasing threat. Then the other concern is that American energy cartels will be cut off from European markets as Germany moves closer to Russia for its energy requirements.
It seems that America’s job in the Middle East has been to destroy most of the competing infrastructure to pave the way for Israel cooperating with China while the UN is basically indifferent being an Anglo-American corporation:
